Trampoline Parts
Year after year, the Trampoline has been one of the most well known and popular recreational items since many of us can remember. People of all ages from very young to the more mature adult, enjoy the thrill of being thrown up into the air with the smallest of jump, well with practise anyway. The fabric which a Trampoline is made of is stretched tightly across the frame, which is usually made of strong steel. Springs which are attached to the frame, keep it taught and assist in giving it its unique bouncing quality. Even the more inexperienced user can make jumps of several meters, with many more experienced jumpers making jumps around the 10 meter mark. There are many size and shapes of trampoline, with round trampolines such as the Jumpking trampoline (see below) being one of the most popular in the
The trampoline is built from several different parts, but comes across as a basic looking piece of equipment. Even though they are built to last, and can last years they still take a large amount of impact and beating even from the modest users. The parts include the steel frame with the fabric stretched across and the springs. Even though the fabric is usually of the highest quality, it can still be prone to tearing if it comes into sharp objects such as stones in trainers so bouncing is usually advised to be done barefoot. Depending on the make of trampoline, depends how thick and durable the fabric is, but this piece can be changed or replaced over time even if it is just normal wear and tear. Springs themselves can loose their shape over time to, so effecting the bounce and not being able to jump as high so can easily be replaced. The springs though are usually made from galvanized steel so a good while before they do need replacing.
Competetion trampolines and their parts usually last longer than recreational trampolines due to the standard required for these kinds of Trampolines. To make your own trampoline last as long as possible, you can get a trampoline cover to stop animals, leaves and dirt from falling on it when not in use. Some do come with the trampoline as standard, but if not then still a worthwhile investment. For safety, enclosures can be purchased which stops anyone who is bouncing from falling off when they are having fun and risking getting hurt. In windy weather, strap downs can be attached and a ladder can be used for getting on and off a trampoline even if the weather is fine, as they can be quiet high off the ground.
Even though trampolines are great fun, it is always advised to take the safety aspects into consideration. For the full range of Trampolines from Madfun at a great price, click here
