Loosing Weight With Trampolines

Forget no carbohydrates diets, I have found the perfect way to get that slim bikini body for the summer…

A couple of years ago I hurt my knee really badly. After months of physiotherapy and plaster casts and crutches, I started to really pile on the pounds. I must have put on about one and half stone in the last year. As the summer is nearing I really wanted to get back into my skinny jeans and my nice swim wear.

The thing I have noticed about diets is, they always start very well but eventually you get hungry and then start to feel ill, also I have found them very expensive, all the low fat stuff seems to be really expensive, there is always too much temptation for yummy things, and research shows that chocolate is good for us women. Joining the gym started to cost a fortune and if you’re a mum like me, where do you get the time?

So, what is the answer? I bought my children a Trampoline. The laughter I heard from the back garden always makes me smile. One day I thought I would get on it. I could literally feel the pounds dropping off me.

I started to use trampolines with my children for 15 minutes a day, and I became tired quite quickly, after a couple of weeks I was on it for 30 minutes a day and felt really healthy. My appetite went up a little more but I noticed I was craving more water based things, such as cucumber because I was burning more energy. I didn’t just notice the difference in my weight loss though, I was full of energy, I found it easier to get up in the morning and easier to get to sleep at night. I noticed a difference in my children too, they were happier because they have a bright happy mum and also I had found a way to bond with all of them at the same time, and on a up note they were exhausted at bed time too!

I have owned my trampoline for a few months now and I am happy to say that I am back in my skinny jeans and my nice swim wear and have lost over a stone in weight, I have a more toned body now and have a lot more confidence then I did before too.

The great things about trampolines is if I saved my gym money for 3 months I would have enough to buy one, they come in so many sizes and for what they are and the happiness they bring they are cheap. My trampoline to date is my best investment.

Trampolines And Outdoor Toys

There are many types of trampolines available as well as a great variety of other outdoor toys which give children a fantastic variation of activities outdoors for fun but also deals with the ever increasing issue of obesity

When safety is concerned, a Jumpking trampoline for example can come with a safety enclosure which makes it more or less impossible for people bouncing on the trampoline to fall off so peace of mind to parents. For starters, trampolines in themselves give a all over body workout from the toes to the head, whilst are such good fun you do not even realise you are exercising.  NASA actually class trampolines are the best exercise there is as it has a very good aerobic impact, and strengthens muscles whilst giving internal body organs good circulation.

As well as trampolines as an ideal summer, if not all year round outdoor exercise there are several other large outdoor toys for the back garden. One of these is the wooden climbing frame, which differs from a metal climbing frame in many aspects. The first obviously is that it is made from wood, very high quality wood infact that does give a old fashioned look and sits unobtrusive in any back garden no matter the size.

As well as the normal bouncying up and down on an individual basis, there are many games children and adults can play on a trampoline to increase the enjoyment even more, but only viable on large enough trampolines. These wooden climbing frames give a great range of activities from small children, right up to teenagers who enjoy them as get away areas. Many of the climbing frames come with towers, swings, slides and climbing nets as well as seating, tables and different levels or balconies.

If a enclose does not come with a particular jumpking model, they can be purchased afterwards and takes about 15-20 minutes to install. A unique trampoline, the oval trampoline gives a large area to jump on plus a different design that steers away from the normal round or rectangular shape.

A more subtle outdoor toy is the playhouse. Again, the most popular are made from wood and steered more towards girls than boys, but there are usually several structures which appeal to boys more such as cowboy huts and ranches, or lookout towers.

With the amount of exercise a child can get from jumpking trampolines to wooden playhouses, parents can enjoy the peace and quiet indoors whilst comfort in the thought that their children are playing away from dangers such as busy roads, and that they are getting good exercise to without them even realising. they are large structures, many have been designed so that anyone can put them together no matter what there construction skills maybe, but two people or more are usually required for safety, if not anything else.

The details of a playhouse is very very good and to high quality, giving a great look and children love them. Quite often, these are given as presents from Grandparents to Grandchildren and can last for decades as the build quality is very high, like climbing frames.

I bought one with a safety net for my garden and for the last 5 weeks of the summer holidays my children were begging me to go outside! The great thing I loved about the Trampoline was it came with a big safety net around it so that I knew my children were safe and happy and they could fall off. I thought that it would be ideal for the Summer but it was great for the whole year round.
