Trampolining on Water!

Yes that heading is definitely correct.  There are such things as water trampolines and they are a fun and exciting piece of equipment to be enjoyed by all the family and envied by all your friends.  The water trampoline is similar to the standard run of the mill trampoline except its construction is from materials that float on water.  This is simply perfect for anyone living near a lake or an area with enough water present for hopping fun.  It is very sturdy and consists of a float tube, jump mat, frame and springs.  It will be sold with a ladder which is essential to allow you to access the trampoline from the water both at the start and in case you fall off and need to remount.

Size wise water trampolines come in various sizes from a height of 36 to 42 inches and a circumference of between 12 and 25 inches round.  Depending on the size of your family there will be a size to suit your needs.  Before you decide on a purchase make sure that the safety is paramount and that the quality is without parallel.  Everyone who uses the trampoline must have fun but must at the same time feel safe.

The trampoline should be constructed from the highest quality materials.  This should be PVC material and take care that the seams are reinforced preferably with a glue bonding substance.

Your trampoline mat has to be the same size as ‘land’ trampolines and protected against wear and tear from usage and the elements like sun and water. Make sure there is a makers guarantee on the workmanship and that there is an adequate warranty should any defects be encountered.

Use a powerful inflator to inflate the item before use and deflate it after you have finished.   Once inflated and moved to the water make sure you anchor the trampoline in the water to prevent it from moving with the water.  The item should have been sold to you complete with an anchor and attachments especially for this.

Also included in the purchase should have been a repair kit with instructions should any small hole appear in the trampoline.

Remember to make everyone aware of the safety measures before nay jumping begins.  Accidents must be avoided at all costs but fun is definitely allowed.
